Remote Monitoring & Windows Patch Management

Remote Monitoring Service watches the hardware, software and security of Windows ® computers, proactively informing your technician of changes in the status of your systems. Armed with these informative alerts, we can proactively respond to issues, often before you even know there is a problem.

Patch Management service continuously monitors computers for patch compliance as well as overall performance, security, configuration and health. Our system proactively alerts us when new patches are required as well as when conditions require our attention and we can respond quickly before a computer fails or is out of compliance.

Our service is unique in that it combines the benefits of patch management with detailed systems management including real-time alerting and historical reporting.

Remote Monitoring & Patch Management

This system is unique in that it combines the benefits of patch management with detailed systems management including real-time alerting and historical reporting.

The service continuously monitors computers for patch compliance as well as overall performance, security, configuration and health. The system proactively alerts when new patches are required as well as when conditions require our attention and we can respond quickly before a computer fails or is out of compliance.

How It Works

After the service is installed on a computer, the service monitors patch level, security, performance, configuration, and computer health around the clock. The local Sensor agent collects information continuously and communicates regularly via SSL to our system. The Sensor sends in any events that have occurred since the last communication, patch level and performance metrics such as CPU and page file usage, free disk space, and network throughput. For servers, the service communicates every five minutes, workstations every hour. If our system doesn't hear from a server for ten minutes, a critical alert is sent notifying us of a down condition, allowing us to quickly go to work to bring it back online.

Security Management

Secure protects computers eight ways with two independent virus scanners, a spyware scanner, application control, intrusion detection, login detection, a firewall and a complete patch management system. Our comprehensive service brings a complete set of management tools together and saves you time and money while keeping your systems more secure.

Each computer running Secure is in regular contact with our system, checking for updates of virus, spyware, security signatures and patch level. Computers check in every ten minutes, and if a computer fails to update its signature files or has an issue, the system alerts us, ensuring that systems are always safe and secure.

Secure works with all Windows servers, desktops, and laptops from Windows 2000 and above as well as Small Business Server 2000 and above.
